After a string of misfortunes, the Bundys move to the cheapest home in Dumpwater, FL – a small house with a sinkhole front yard. As they get to know their Latin neighbors, war with HOA snobs, & yuck it up at their community pool, Al is desperate to be a big shot but continually gets fleeced in Florida – where the weather is sunny, but the people are shady. Adapted from the series Married... with Children.

I grew up in Miami. “Married… with Children” came on the air when I was in 4th grade, and I immediately became obsessed. But my mom was a child psychologist and was horrified. She would only let me watch if afterwards I discussed the episodes with her and promised I knew that’s not how families are supposed to act. And I did know. But that’s also exactly why I loved them. The Bundys gave a giant middle finger to modern suburban morals and snobbery. Sure, the Bundys fought, but it was always clear that at the end of the day, they loved each other. There was nothing more fun than watching them, after two acts of bickering, do a “whoa Bundy” and unite to take on the world. They are instantly relatable for anyone who thinks their family is a bunch of embarrassing, loud-mouth jackasses. Which is all of us… Or at least all of us from Florida.
